Walk-Ins
To inquire about walk-ins, please call the shop, stop by, or send us a message. Small to medium pieces are best for walk-ins; appointments are strongly recommended for large scale work. Walk-ins are first come, first serve based on artist availability.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO GET A TATTOO.
Prepare for Appointment
While it might not always be as crucial as the care you take after getting your tattoo, smart pre-tattoo preparation can still make a huge difference.
-
While showering, gently exfoliate the area that will be tattooed.
-
Apply lotion to the area to hydrate and soften your skin; your tattoo will look cleaner and heal faster than if your skin is rough & dry. Doing this for up to 7 days before your appointment makes your tattooist very happy!
-
Drink a lot of water during the week; preferably avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before getting tattooed.
-
Trim or shave the area you’re getting tattooed. Remember, you’re getting your skin tattooed, not your body hair. Shave away any long or thick hair that could obstruct the tattoo needle and cause complications for the tattooing process.
aftercare
After you get a tattoo, you'll essentially be walking around with an open wound. That's why prioritizing tattoo care is extremely important—both for the health of your skin and to ensure your new tattoo ends up looking as good as possible.
-
If you have a Saniderm bandage, try to keep it on for 4 days. Take it off in the shower. Running water will help loosen the adhesive and relax the skin, making the removal much more comfortable.
-
Wash your tattoo gently with unscented antibacterial soap and pat dry with a clean paper towel 2-4 times a day and apply a thin layer of unscented lotion once or twice a day for 2 weeks.
-
Avoid pools, hot tubs, lakes, oceans, soaking in the bath, and direct sun for 2 weeks.
-
Don't scratch or pick at your tattoo.
-
If you have any questions or concerns during the healing process, please contact your artist.
